Edge's Cocktail Party Meatballs
Ingredients: 2 lbs lean ground beef 1/4 cup peeled and grated potato 1 egg 1 small onion, grated salt for flavor ground pepper for flavor 1 tsp. chopped parsley 1 bottle chilli sauce [13 oz.] 3 1/2 tbsp. grape jelly [5 oz.] Dash of Worchestershire Sauce
Directions: Combine the ground beef, potato, egg, and onion in a large bowl and mix well. Season the mixture with salt and pepper, then form into small meatballs. Set aside.
In a large skillet, blend the remaining ingridients over medium heat. Add the meatballs, then cover and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
With a slotted spoon, transfer the meatballs to a chafing dish, fondue pot, or serving platter. Skim the excess fat from the sauce, then pour the sauce over the meatballs. Serve warm.
