Chris Jericho vs Edge (Hair Match)

Who wouldn't pay to see either Chris Jericho or Edge lose his long locks? Think of all the excitement over the hair match between Edge and Kurt Angle, whose receding hairline was noticeable already. Angle didn't have much hair to lose, but whiny crybaby Jericho has plenty.

Their Styles: Jericho and Edge have engaged in great matches in the past, especially on Smackdown during the past year. Their styles are very similar, featuring plenty of high-impact aerial moves. Edge has been in WWE long enough to be on par with Jericho in terms of experience, and he also has the height and reach to counter Y2J's low center of gravity.

The Stakes: Despite Edge's dreamboat mystique, even his admirers concede he would have a really ugly mug without that '80s hair. Of course, Jericho's long hair has been a signature for him ever since his debut. Would Jericho even look the same without his hair? It would be hard to take him seriously as a Crash Holly clone.

The Questions: Would it be the lionsault or the "Edge-a-cution"? Scissors or clippers? Would Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake provide a special Wrestlemania moment?

The Outcome: Edge absolutely, positively would have to win this match. He'd look too much like Ed Norton from The Honeymooners without that blond hair. Jericho could survive a loss with some of his creditability intact. Memo to the WWE production crew: Don't use computer-generated mockups to show how Jericho and Edge would appear afterward. That would kill the suspense.
