Edge & Linda McMahon on Canada AM
Recap by Devin Cutting from www.ProWrestlingInline.com

Edge & Linda McMahon were guests on the March 15th edition of Canada AM.
Below is a recap of their interview.

Edge talked about him attending WrestleMania 6 as a fan & working at WrestleMania 18 as a wrestler, noting that competing on Sunday will be a dream come true for him & that he will have huge goosebumps that day.

Linda stated that the reason why the WWF decided to bring WrestleMania back to Toronto is that the Canadian market is very strong for the WWF and that the Canadian media & fans are very wonderful to the entire company.

Linda spoke briefly about the size of the WWF, it's merchandise & multimedia projects and how much TV coverage the WWF receives around the world.

Linda said that Vince, Shane & Stephanie are great performers and that since Vince is the creator of the WWF, he is involved in everything that the WWF does.

Edge predicted that he will defeat Booker T at WrestleMania 18 & stated that due to the huge fan support that he will have in Toronto, his hometown, it will be difficult for him to lose.

Edge talked about the tough lives that wrestlers live, mentioning that they work each day from the moment that wake up until midnight and that after each show, they eat wherever they can, then immediately head to bed.

Edge said that since WrestleMania 18 is in his hometown, he is able to spend time with his family & friends.

When asked about the XFL & other sports projects, Linda stated that there are currently no plans for the WWF to get involved with other sports. She then said that the WWF is now part of the music, publishing & licensing businesses and that when the WWF hires someone to run it's Los Angeles office, the WWF will have more TV & movie projects to work on.

Linda stated that the sexuality in the WWF product has increased lately and that although the WWF divas are good looking, their characters are powerful & make good role models for the WWF's female fans. She also mentioned the WWF's female viewing audience is growing.
